Ingredients
2 cups of finely ground sea salt
1/2 cup baking soda
1/2 cup cornstarch
2 tablespoons olive oil
2 eggs
Lavender essential oil
Rubbing alcohol
Biodegradable glitter (optional)
Add salt, baking soda and corn starch to a large mixing bowl. Gently mix with a metal spoon until fully integrated. Continue mixing as you add eggs and olive oil. Next, add up to 10 drops of lavender essential oil.
Place dough on a non-wooden surface. Using a rolling pin that you do not use for baking, roll out batter until it is about ¼ inch thick and cut with decorative metal cookie cutters.
Bake at 350 degrees for 10 – 12 minutes. The goal is to dry them out. Cookies will not turn dark brown.
Allow the cookies to cool completely before storing. Spritz cookies with rubbing alcohol and lightly sprinkle with biodegradable glitter. Cookies must be crumbled prior to use.
